Bunnies ready for rehoming!

I've done it!

4 pretty, vintage, linen bunnies all finished and now sitting pretty.
A backstage shot of them waiting for their photo shoot, lol.
Oh the glamour of it all!

Yesterday I finished embroidering tails...

and bunny faces. (Ouch! It looks painful doesn't it?)

I stitched on buttons...

and ears.
This has to be the fiddliest part of all as I stitch from one ear to the other, through 13 layers of fabric, wadding and a button for each ear!

(Gosh! I wish I hadn't worked that out, I've still got 2 more bunnies to make!)

But it's all worth it in the end.

They look so cute sitting next to my laptop as I type this...aaaah.

love Fi x

So cute, especially the view of the hugs from behind! I'm pleased to see I'm not the only one who has an ironing board with a split personality - photographic studio, worktop and ironing board (if the family are lucky!) Good luck with finishing the last two!

Your rabbits are cleverly made and so adorable. Hopefully the brothers and sisters will not be separated? They look so happy together.

I love making rabbits out of linen and giving them little outfits.

Oh, the simple pleasures of life.

When you get a minute Fiona, have a look at Anne Menary's website - I think you might be interested in the sort of things she does.

Your bunnies are beautiful. They look so loving, with their arms around each others shoulders. I find it difficult to push the needles through the faces of the things I make. Can't help grimacing at the thought of how much it would hurt!
