A Love for Old Blighty part 2

Hi all, I hope you're not going to be disappointed with today's big reveal. This commission wasn't a large scale thing you know, lol. Well not physically anyway.

It's was for one of my heart brooches, from a lovely lady many miles away.
The brief was right up my street, a love for England, the Union Jack, cottages, the White Cliffs of Dover, bluebells and most importantly the RAF.
And although I couldn't fit the White Cliffs of Dover on, lol. I think I've given it the right 'feel'. It definitely says, a nostalgic love for GB.
Gosh! I hope the lady in question thinks so!

This is such a surprise. I saw it when you first started and I would never have guessed it would be so small. Bravo on pulling off a great surprise. The lady will not be disappointed; I know that I wouldn't be.

That is lovely - and perfect for the job, I think. Your village stream looks a bit full! We have a very warm but windy day down here. x Jo

My goodness Fi, you certainly have had some rain there. Not sure I would like living next to that waterfall the sound would be rather deafening I imagine.........

Fi I would never have imagined your commission was a brooch, but what a lovely commission to work on and I think you have captured it perfectly........

I'm sure the lady in question will be very pleased with it and enjoy wearing it too....

I wasn't expecting it to be a brooch! It's gorgeous.

That looks to be a fair bit of water tumbling down there.

That is so lovely ... Bluebirds over White Cliffs of Dover one of my favourite wartime songs, makes me cry a bit about Jimmy going to sleep in his own little room again. Sorry, I'm rambling! Have a lovely Sunday, Claire xxx

That is definitely the best Jubilee celebratory item I've seen ... gorgeous. I'm sure she will love it. It's wet in Kendal too.
