Fabric Therapy.

Hello. Have you time for a cuppa and a catch up?
Good, I thought you might have. LOL!
.
Lets start with a bit of retail therapy. A friend and I had a day out together in Guisborough this week. We'd never been to Guisborough before, but we'd had a tip off about a lovely craft shop called Leven Crafts , so we followed it up. Unfortunately I have no photos of the inside of the shop because there was far too much to look at and stroke and oo and aah at, but here's what I bought...

very pretty fabrics and ...
some more pretty fabrics and...

a little bit more fabric and ...

some uber pretty lace and ribbon.
.
It's not all been spend, spend, spend around here though. I have been busy too.
I've made wonderful man a new cover for the old horse hair seat pad on his work chair.

I'm trying to make a crochet cover for a coathanger like the ones in Lucy's new craft book.

And I have this little project to finish but I'll show you more of that when it's completed.
.
Till next time,
Love Fi x

Lovely fabrics and ribbons sounds like a shop I'd like to visit too! Had to smile at the ad for HP sauce in your first pic as it is a staple in our house and is taken with pretty much everything by my husband!

Hi Fi,
What a lovely shop to find, and in the place i was born! I haven`t been to Guisborough for ages. But my mother-in-law lives in a village nearby called Great Ayton. So next time we are up there i`ll make that shop my first port of call. Love the coathanger cover.

What wondeful goodies! I especially love the ribbon and lace, I like unusual coloured lace trims. Is that a yellowy mustard colour? or is the light decieving me.

Hello, got here via Crete (&Jude)and am so pleased I did. I was fascinated to read about the 20 min craft spot and thought I would find out more. I think it is a fab idea and whilst I might be a bit late in the year I am about to start my 40th year and this would be the ideal thing to promise to do. So inspiring. Have had a jolly peruse through your blog and love it! I can't crochet but can sew my knitting is a bit basic but I get there eventually. Off to read the other blog and have a look at fliker before lunch.....
