Crochet Coat Hanger.

Hello there.
I'm so excited today with my 'Ta-daa' moment!
I want to show you my crochet clothes hanger.
Inspired by the project in a Japanese craft book on Lucy's blog.
I looked at the pretty picture and screwed up my eyes and wrinkled my nose. Yes I think I could make something like that, maybe not identical but similar.
So I gave it a go!
And I'm thrilled with it. (big grin)
It was very fiddly, but after a little conflab with my friend, I'm going to try another one but make it a different and hopefully simpler way.
I'll keep you posted.
.
Next time I'll be sharing some Wedding Cake with you.
No.... not reeeeeaaal Wedding Cake, you know me, I made it from vintage lace! (What else would I use!)
.
Till next time.

Love Fi x

That's really beautiful! I'm thinking that if you made one in white or creme, with pale pink flowers, it would be a lovely gift for someone who has a flower girl, christening, first communion, or even a wedding dress to hang.

Wow! You are soooooooo clever, I have looked at Lucy's posting but I wouldn't know how to make a start - well I could have a go if some kind person put up a tutorial! :0)
But where do you buy those kind of hangers anymore? I can't find any hereabouts.
Thanks for sharing and I'm looking forward to my piece of wedding cake! :0)

That makes a boring, mundane item look terrific! Can't wait for the wedding cake.

Now, a friend of mine & I have a saying that 'life is too short to cover a clothes hanger', however we hadn't seen yours..... beautiful, only snag is that I wouldn't want to hang anything on it! Am v impressed with it and would hang it on the outside of my wardrobe as what Oprah refers to as 'clost, bling'!!

I really like your coat hanger and they are really useful too. Coming into colder weather as we are here you really appreciate a padded coathanger so you don't get those shoulder marks in your knitted(type) stuff. Added to that it is very pretty.
Cheers

That's so lovely. Crochet is definitely next on my list, but it'll be a while before I can do anything like that (I assume? How hard is crochet?)

Ooh is that one of those old kitchen cabinets? I've always wanted one of those, but never had the room. You'll have to hang that on view, too pretty to hide away.

Oh now this is very good! Very good indeed!! I got quite excited upon seeing it, and I think you've done a marvellous job, the flowers make it such a pretty thing!

Well done!! (heartily inspired, off to dig out some wool)

Yes I was quite taken with those same crocheted clothes hangars. I have my own take on them in my head, not sure whether I'll ever get around to making any. Yours are lovely, so pretty.
