Today I've had a lovely day.
We had a birthday.
And we gave gifts.
There will be a sleep over with the obligatory sofa picnic whilst watching Mama Mia.
Today I also received gifts.
Today I met a real live blogger for the first time. I met Alchamillamolly and what a lovely day I had! We met in a car park - very blind date-ish. I was wearing a peach scarf and she was wearing a silver Renault Clio. (it worked for us) We had lunch in a pretty tea shop and then back to my place. And then we talked and talked and talked. We talked that much I didn't realise 5 hours had passed! We talked that much I only got time to put the kettle on twice! (must fit more tea in next time) We put the world to rights, smoothed out some blogging problems, ironed out new bunny design faults admired Lucy Blooms Lillipegs and shared our family lives.
How lucky am I? Thank you Catherine I hope you enjoyed the day as much as I did.

It's so lovely to meet a blogger in real life, isn't it?
You must have had loads in common to talk for that long!! Glad you had a good day ;-)
I have never met a real life blogger! I will have to do it one day! Come to think of it I don't know anyone in my circle of friends or family that blogs!!! I hope the birthday was a good one.
Thank you for your kind words about our day - I too had a lovely day and was grinning from ear to ear all the way home. you have a lovely family and a beautiful home and I felt totally relaxed and welcome the whole time I was there. My new bunny has pride of place in the kitchen so I can see him all the time ( he is a he by the way even though he is embroidered!!)

I to would love to meet a fellow blogger(S)!

P.S - I have an Award for you!
I remember birthday sleepovers, what fun. Sounds like your blind blogger date was a success, I dont live that close to any bloggers, not that I know of anyway.
Take Care

Sounds like everyone had a fantastic time, birthdays and blind dates...
Rosie Rabbit is settling in well, she has popped over to the studio to have a look around and has decided to stay there until such time as the bedroom is decorated and will then take up residence there... who would have though an embroidered rabbit would be so fussy! lol

I love bloggy blind dates too, I had one recently with Bertie Meadows and it was lovely. My Boden coat is v good for blind-date recognisation.
Enjoyed walking the dales with you Fi, isn't it looking lovely and green everywhere right now, I love the light at this time of year.
Happy days to you
