OOh darn technology! Hope you get sorted out soon, those snow pics are amazing, we only had a few flakes down here. Shame it didn't do that at Christmas! Yes I know what you mean about painting furniture, I don't mind it getting chipped but if I decided I didn't like it it's an awful lot of work to undo! I usually play safe and don't paint either.
