Bunny Love

Hello, how are you? Still snowed up? Yep! Us too. Never mind lets stay indoors and have some bunny love.

In answer to a couple of questions you left with your lovely comments; yes I did make these bunnies.

They're made from vintage embroidered linens. It took a couple of attempts tweaking my pattern to get the face the right shape.

I never realised how hard it is to draw a rabbits face!

They have button jointed arms and little buttons holding their ears on.

And each one has a little embroidered heart on his bobtail.

I couldn't resist adding some of my own hand embroidery especially around their faces.

I've just realised, there's an extra bunny in the last picture, I wonder where he's been for the last six photos?

You really do need a folksy shop, its quite simple to set with paypal and the folksy shop is very easy to set up... they would definately sell!
I know I would be very very tempted!
Just don't tell mr P.... I am not suppose to be spending money!

They're great, well done you. I always find it hard to cut up old embroidery but those cloths do make lovely things.

Love the bunnies. Their little flowers look as if they are popping up through snow which is very apt at the moment! Eli

Your bunnies are adorable and so beautifully made. How nice to have recyled vintage embroidered fabric. It has brought it up to date and given it a new lease of life in a way which will appeal to so many. I just love your rag rug too - I wonder how old it is. I like making them and it's high time I started another one. Thankyou for reminding me. Lovely snow pics though I've had enough now and want the Spring to hurry up and get here.

The bunnies are fantastic. Surely you must have realised what happens when you put bunnies together - maybe there will be more than six next time you look!

I love Maggi's comment about the number of bunnies! No I haven't done anything with my knitted Noro squares yet - they are so lovely I'm afraid of spoiling them, but will pluck up courage soon. We live north of Bristol and I don't know the areas around the city well but it's a good place to live.
