Happy Holidays

Hello all, I'm back from my special anniversary holiday and very special it was too!
The weather was hot, hot, hot! It was like being abroad but better because we were in beautiful old Blighty. I won't bore you with all of my holiday snaps, there are quite a few.
I'll just give you the 'essence' of holiday.
Enjoying pink thatched cottages on the seafront.
 Lots of sunbathing and sand.
Quirky little shops. (A Touch of Vintage)

Such friendly and inspirational people. (Nicola Kathrens)
 Pretty buildings.
 Wonderful food.
 Absolutely delish! Curtesy of
The Town Mill Bakery
 A castle.
 beautiful clear sea.
 Little fishing boats.
 Stunning coastline.
 Beautiful beaches
and famous scenery. Do you recognise it.
Lyme Regis of course.

And to Wonderful Man.
Thank you for the last 25 years hun. Bring on the next 25!

Next time more scenery but of the woolly kind.

Love Fi x

Gladyou enjoyed my home county, I often wonder what impression visitors have of Dorset, hope everyone was polite and friendly towards you. Lyme is my favourite awayday destination, can just sit and watch the world go by.

Who needs to go abroad when the weather is as fabulous as it has been over here of late?
I thought I recognised the place, we were there 3 years ago.

That had to be beautiful Dorset when I spied Corfe Castle. Such a lovely county, as good as Hampshire where I live. We spent many happy holidays in that area.. Congratulations on your first 25yrs, we are celebrating our 2nd 25yrs. 50yrs and still loving our life.
Welcome home.

omigoodness, is that the beach walk and stairs in Sense and Sensibility?? If it's not, it's a twin.

Love this little town and all the shops. Would anyone want to leave? Not I.
