Just a quickie to get me back into bloggy mode after my summer holiday away from you all.
Pin up hair for the 1940's weekend in Leyburn last month.
I couldn't wait to take all the pins out! Ouch!
Next time I'll make do with this snood I crocheted from an original 1940's pattern.
Back to normal bloggy service soon, lots to show you.
love Fi x

I L-O-V-E your '40s blog posts! !
Fantastic 'do, truly the 40's.
Oh, what can be said about your snood?
Soooo, 40's.
Do you do your own 'do? Looks so true to the times.
hugs
Fi! You look like you just stepped off a movie set! FABULOUS! GORGEOUS even! Love the snood. :)
You sure have fun! Love the hairstyle too. I tried felting from your tutorial and my piece turned out nice but much thinner than I expected! I think I used about 5 layers of wool batts I carded myself. It was nowhere as pretty as yours! but thanks again for the tutorial!
Love it! you look great.x
You look amazing....can you just imagine having to do that every day?
Hugs,

Can I just say, and I mean this in the nicest possible way you understand, how 1940s you look? Some people who take part in these events just don't look right, but you have the right face, colouring, figure, the lot. Brilliant, you look lovely.
Oh, how I loved your 1940's look. Fantastic. Your hair do reminded me of "Sam's" Stewart hair do in "Foyle's War played by Honeysuckle Weeks.
I recently discovered you blog and your wet felting creations are truly inspiring and creative. Hugs Judy
Oh yes that look really suits you! What fun to step back in time occasionally. x Jo
It was a huge success that weekend, wasn't it? I loved all the men in officer's uniforms, there were not many lower ranks about were there?
Nice Vintage hairdo
Very nice, thanks for sharing.
You look lovely, I have long hair but have never managed to give it such a great 1940's style.
