Yummy Creativity!

The last couple of weeks have been chock full of creativity here at MarmaladeRose.
Not all of it stitchy creativity, although there has been 'shed loads' of that.
Teehee!
I've been brushing up on my cooking skills, making jam

pickling runner beans (these are truly delicious)

baking something that nearly passed for bread buns!

trying to perfect my fruit scones

and sponge cake

rabbit pie, oops! Not really.
These are new, never been made before larger bunnies standing about 16 inches tall.

More fabric cupcakes but I think we've all seen enough of those.
And,
some pretty applique pictures but they'll have to wait until next time. I don't want to bore you all rigid!
.
Right, I'm off to see what you've all been up to now.
.
love Fi x

Boy you have been busy!!

I am still in shock as have just been offered the most perfect job, A fabric shop, that plans to sell wool.....and run workshops.....how cool is that!!!! I should, i hope, be able to do both jobs, so the best of both worlds.

I really want to learn how to do the machine stiched pictures. Have been reading back through you Wheatie bag cover tutorial.

Can't wait to see the 'Shed'.

You have been busy, beautiful bunnies and homemade preserves.
Shall wait for the 'big reveal' of the garden shed, knowing that it will be chocful of cuteness.
Blue skies , blossom and bees here today.
Have a fab week,

Goodness, you'd never bore us, we want MORE, not less! The scones look fab, much bigger than mine ever seem to turn out. I am very curious about the pickled beans, as we've just been given loads of runners. Is it easy to make?

Possibly a silly question but how do you pickle runner beans? And what do you eat them with when they're pickled? I have a huge amount this year so am looking for different ideas to use them.

Show! Show! I'm not rigid yet! And I'm glad to see I'm not the only one using recycled jars for jam.
