I'm quite overwhelmed at how many of you lovely bloggy ladies want to join me in my 20 minutes daily crafting.
So I've spent most of my free time over the last 3 days saving blogs in my favourites folder and creating lists and links to blogs so that we can all pop in on each other and give lots of encouragement.
Today technology did get the better of me and I had to hand over the flickr reins to Penny at Violet White. I'm sure she's more than capable of looking after all of our project photos that we are going to post (hint, hint, we now have our very own flicker group) Yep the flickr badge for the 20 Minuters Achievements is up on my sidebar. Please upload photos of your craft work so that we can all see what we are achieving. Any problems, don't ask me! I'm hopeless on flickr. LOL. Penny's your girl.
A very big ThankYou Penny. x

Well I think that's me for today. The pictures above are my 20 minutes for the last 3 days. A couple of evenings embroidering and today I've made three dinky little lavender bags. Just need to buy some lavender now (if anyone knows any good websites for lavender...)
.
And lastly thank you to Yoshiko in Japan for the lovely gifts. The 'hello kitty' phone charm was especially welcomed.

till next time

Still knitting! Love the embroidery. :)
Beautiful little bags, and gorgeous embroidery. I still haven't figured out exactly how I'm going to post my progress, perhaps once a week. I'll figure it out soon, I promise. At 20 minutes, I'm actually getting quite a bit accomplished.
Your embroidery is just exquisite! I won't have any photos for a while as I'm busy working on organizing the photos for my scrapbooking - it seems to take as long to do the prep work as it does to do the actual album.
Those are really lovely embroidered bags.
You can get dried lavendar from Yorkshirelavendr.com. web site.
Your embroidered bags are all beautiful!!! We are finally getting our craft group together.. first meeting is next week. I am excited! It's not 20 minutes a day, but it's a start!
It's certainly gone manic this idea of yours, but I must say it is a very good one! I do need encouragement to finish things and this is it! I don't know the first thing about flickr so I Will need some help there. I love your tablecloth, I like the "old fashioned" embroidery, and those lavender bags are wonderful too.

Thank you for reminding me about that nursery rhyme, my grandmother used to sing it to me.
It just goes to show what a good idea you had! Like Julie I don't have the first idea about how to use Flikr but I'll certainly give it a go and hopefully by the end of the year we'll have loads of photos of all our efforts!

Loving the embroidery... what a fabulous easter gift idea...

Hello! Finally found your blog, which is beautiful. Can I please be included in the 20 Minuters? I love card making and cross stitch, both of which are new hobbies for me, so I have lots to learn, but I nearly always have a project on the go (cross stitch is soooo addictive!) Drop by my blog some time, you'll be very welcome. Please let me know what I need to do to join in. I'm pretty sure I'll get the hang of flickr. Thanks Jane x
I get my lavender from here - http://driedlavenderandroses.co.uk/page_1232547634484.html
their aromatic lavender is really lovely, good scent, and as you are using it for baggies, you don't need the colour ( which costs more ). Its really good value and they are very friendly.
I have made more crochet squares today whilst watching the cricket. Photos on the blog tonight.
Hi Fi,
Well done to you. You certainly seem to be encouraging a lot of us to get crafting in any way that suits us. It's certainly working for me as it's made me get a little something done each day that I wouldn't have otherwise. And now I've started with my on-going hexagon quilt, which is starting to come together! Wow, that's certainly a big achievement.
It's a lovely way to meet other bloggers too.
I too love that old fashioned embroidery.
Beautiful embroidery, i really want to learn how to...any suggestions on best way to start? Should i just buy a cheapy kit first of all?? x
Well done Fi - what an industrious lot you all are - I think you will soon have to open your own shop to sell all these things you make.
Hello Fi, just hopping over from Pipany's - please count me in for 20 mins a day. What utter bliss! Thank you.
Your embroidery is lovely and the lavender bags are really pretty too.

Hi,
Found you via Maria at Wonder Women. Is it possible to join the 20 minute Group as my job means that grabbing 20 minutes to craft is a challenge I want to win. Many thanks
xx
Beautiful bags! They remind me so much of the embroidery my great grandmother used to do - a great compliment.
Would it be possible to join your happy band of 20 minuters? I have been crocheting granny squares everyday since the first of January, for that elusive blanket, and I'm starting to need some encouragement!
KC + C I have left you a comment I hope it helps.
To you Fi, lovely work hun, as always, and breathing is always important, lol. In out in out, I usually panic when its up down up down :)
I'm needing some help getting the 20 minuters link image up and running - if anyone reads this
thank you xxx
Oh nearly forgot the important bit - thank you for the encouragement
Just to say I have spent the last couple of days mastering ripple stitch(Lucy at Attic24)and yesterday I started a cushion top managed to get two colours done, took me more than 20 minutes though.I'll keep you posted.Love the embroidery by the way.

Hi Fi
I've just put your 20 Minuters picture on my blog and linked it to your blog, is that alright with you?
Thanks for leaving your comment on my blog, it's my first one and you made my day!

20 minutes a day sounds great, but once I get in my work room time just flies. Thankyou for posting the crochet cat pattern, I made one for me and one for my daughter. I am now trying my hand at scrumble crochet.
Thanks for your wonderful blog, it is inspiring.
Briony
Hi, I'd love to join in with 20 minutes a day. I thought I'd already posted but I can't find the comment.
I knit, spin and crochet and I am now trying to teach myself to sew.
Do I have to join the flickr group and is there any way I can put the 20 minutes a day button on my blog?
Tracey
Is it too late for me to join your 20 minutes please? It's just the thing I need to get me sewing every day!
Jo xx
I've been reading about your 20 Minute challenge on too many blogs to ignore now so I thought I'd ask if I can join in too? 20 minutes crafting per day is one resolution I just may be able to keep - woohoo!
Love your embroidery by the way, it is very similar to a couple of tablecloths I have in my possession which were done, one by my mother and another by hers.
Craftwards here I go!
Kate
Beautiful embroidery work! I love what you have made.
Warm wishes

Oh gosh, those bags are little works of art, what lovely work.
I found your blog through a link on a friend's blog. I love the idea of the 20 minutes' sewing a day - I have been doing far more than that recently as I have rediscovered my passion for x-stitch. I love the tablecloth you are sewing right now - these are something I often buy at car boot sales, or sometimes a boxful of linen from auction, and have quite a collection (far more than I could ever actually USE!)
