Yarndale is a commin!

Edited to add.....
I've a few lovelies who are not going to Yarndale asking if they can purchase greetings cards online. Yes you can, I'll photograph them so that you can see them properly on my next post (Sunday 8th) and you can email me if you would like some. More details to follow.
Look! Look! It's arrived! This is my greeting card order in preparation for Yarndale. Isn't it exciting!
Eight different designs made from photos of my felt work. I know I'm biased but they are luuuverly! I'm very chuffed with them. Can you tell!

While I was about it I had some business cards made too! Just too scrummy for words really. And yes! That is a MarmaladeRose phone cover casually laid next to them, lol. That was my belated birthday present from my daughter, my very own artwork on the back of my phone! I'm almost giddy with joy! teehee!

Well there is no escaping it, only 3 weeks to Yarndale, panic, PANIC! This is where it will all take place, Skipton Auction Mart. It's HUGE!
If I've got my map the right way up, I think this is where I'll be...in the middle pen up against that wall. I'm standing on an overhead walkway to take this photo so I shouldn't be too difficult to find if you want to come and say hello. Please come and say hello. My lovely friend 'Madbird' will be in the pen next to me so please say hello to her too!
Now any suggestions for attaching a temporary display to a breeze block wall will be gratefully received!
Goodness knows what we're going to do!

Love Fi x

The cards are absolutely gorgeous, Fiona, but then they would be, they are photos of your amazing artwork. Will the poor people who can't come and visit you at the fair ( me, lol ) be able to buy the cards from you online?

I hope Yarndale goes well - your postcards and phone case look great! Wish I could come, I have just booked train tickets to Skipton ('home') but sadly, not until October, trust me not to check if there was anything special on, coming up, first. Oh well, maybe next year :)

Hello Fi, it all looks amazing! You are so talented. Another poor person here who won't be able to come - how much are your cards please? Hope all goes well!

Dear Fi
Your cards look wonderful and I am sure they will be really popular. As to the hanging on a breeze block wall issue - how about sticky Velcro (other hook and loop fastenings are available!)? It has worked for me in the past as the felt sticks to it really well and it can be removed form the wall without causing any damage.
Hope all goes really well for you.
Best wishes
Ellie

Hi Fi I was involved (with work) with a huge two day event in the Mart probably a longer time ago that I think. Its a good venue. How about wooden ladders (begged, borrowed or stolen!!)leaning against the wall for display? Also Velcro although I am not sure how well it will adhere to breeze block because of the dust. Most importantly at Yarndale - have fun - and remember to take on board the flattery - your work is outstanding.

Beautiful Fiona. You are very talented. I do hope it goes well for all you lovely ladies at Yarndale. Wish I was a little closer but several thousand miles is a little too far!

Hi i have looked for send cards online so discovered your short blog. Really you have created an amazing and exciting blog. I like it Thanks for sharing

The cards look fantastic; I'm coming to Yarndale from Devon, along with visiting my Mum, but I'm so excited to see your work in person.

There seems to be a horizontal pole in your area at the market..could you get some string around that to give you some anchors to the wall? Course, I'm not sure how high up it is..

Hope all your prep goes well. In moments of panic remember to breathe :)

Hi Jill,
Unfortunately that pole is actually a narrow ledge and it's waaaay up high. (sad face) but thanks for taking the time to comment. So far I'm hoping two long sticks fastened to the pen posts with an extending curtain rod across the top will work. That's plan A. There is no pan B! Breathe, breathe. x

You artwork is simply STUNNING! I found your blog through "Little Tin Bird" and now I can't get away, hehe

Is it possible to buy your pretties online somehow?

Hi there just playing blog catch up!
I am looking into a card printing company and wonder if you could recommend the place where you get your done. I have just started dabbling in painting and have a few people say they would make nice cards!
Any advice appreciated. Also LOVE the pansey and Iris bag. My Granny and her sister shared those names!

Minty Pink you've left no way for me to contact you, so I can't answer your question.
