Not one but two new bags to share with you today!
I had such fun designing and making these two beauties.
And yes, I do feel justified calling them 'beauties' lol.

Lots of machine embroidery (this is the back, isn't it wonderful! It's a secret that only you and I have seen, safely hidden behind the pretty lining fabric now).jpg)

I do like to hand finish. It makes all the difference, much neater, a way of adding a little bit of love and care to each project..jpg)
I nearly forgot to show you the inside! I'm quite a practical girl, I like pockets and a long ribbon tape to secure my keys. (long enough to unlock my door with out removing the keys.).jpg)

Gosh Fi you are so talented, you have inspired me since finding your blog, I am now making a book with fabric covers that I will embellish with lace and beads and embroidery. Thank you I love what you make. I want to start felting now!!

What a difference changing the placement of the stripes makes! These little beauties are too gorgeous. Maybe you could do some of the machine embroidery one day and feature the back. Would look great on a shodowy sort of tweed. Cherrie

They are very special beauties...I back embroidery..wow..I'd have to leave that on show, it was so neat and pretty in itself!!

As always such wonderful creations. I wouldn't want to hide that machine embroidery behind the lining it looks great! They will sell like the proverbial hotcakes I am sure and being plaid and chintz will be suitable for summer or winter use - really fab!

Every time I make a bag each one is very personal to me, like part of my family, and I always wonder where it will go, who will love it, what adventures it will have. I am sure you feel exactly the same.

They are fantastic, Fi. The attention to detail is wonderful and the back is just as neat as the front. Very sensible putting a good length on the key fob, as my Mother would say "designed by a woman". I'm sure they'll be snatched up in no time at all.
