Just popped in, probably for the last time until after Yarndale to say a huge
THANK YOU for all of your support and well wishes. I'm quite nervous as this is my first big craft exhibition/fair but I'm exited too.
I'd also like to say thank you to my lovely family for putting up with felt in the kitchen, yarn in the sitting room, boxes in the hallway, and baskets on the landing. Especially my Wonderful Man who has the title of 'Head of Logistics' as without him I'd be going nowhere!
And lastly all my yummy friends here in the Dales who share my love of textiles, especially all the ladies of the Knitting Baskets knit and natter evenings and Chapel Gallery's weekly textile tea party.
Thank you.
and Anne Smithies,
I'll see you setting up on Friday at Yarndale!
WOOHOO!
Nearly forgot...the picture! A few of my felt flower brooches ready for the weekend.

Good luck at the weekend. Just wish I lived nearer as I would love to see your work in 'the flesh' and would have loved to be able to come to Yarndale. I shall look forward to reading about how you get on :)
I bought one of your lovely flowers at Yarndale today and wanted to say how much I love it. You were busy talking to someone else and I was shy or I'd have told you in person :) x
Hoping it was a great success - your brooches look amazing and so perfectly displayed!x Jo
I met you and wonderful man at Yarndale today and I was so excited to see you as I have been following your blog for several years now. Your work is so inspiring and it was great to know you are as lovely in person as I imagined. Thanks for the advice on embroidering on felt. x Rebecca
I got one of your lovely cards at Yarndale, your work looked really good.....gave you a little mention on my Blog.
I saw your work at Yarndale and I think it's amazing you are a very talented lady! :)
You are an amazingly talented lady. I bought one of your beautiful tropical flower brooches yesterday at wonderful Yarndale. Whilst walking around I had many admiring comments - I LoVe it! Thankyou and it was great to catch you for a chat albeit briefly.
Can't wait until next year :-)

These flowers are gorgeous, when I first saw it I thought top end catwalk designer. If this was a dress I think it would easily fit in in that environment. Love all your work, wish I lived nearer so I could visit one of your exhibits/stalls at a fayre but I am in South West. I'm going to keep checking in to see your work. I liked the photos and explanations of various parts of the process on facebook, did you do a course to learn this technique?. (sorry deleted my last comment I'm a bit OCD about my typos) Regards Martha
Hi Martha, No I'm self taught. x
