Makes for 2011

What did I actually make last year?

Hmmm...let me see...

Cushions, crocheted, embroidered, pieced, patched, quilted and gathered.

Button jointed bunnies.

A variety of vintage linen lavender hearts.

I made bunting from old napkins. I stitched community bunting in the garden and made bunting for boys.

A bevvy of brooches were, embroidered and embellished for the ladies.

I flirted with felt flowers, stuck sticks in crochet flowers and even yarn bombed in public.

I designed, stitched, printed, cut and stuck my own range of greetings cards and made a patchwork chair pad tutorial that is still to be posted, oops!

Springtime bags were sprung, and crochet purses created.

A little dress designing and making took place.

A new woolly hat was designed and made. Cutesy baby boots were knitted and aprons were fashioned.

Some festive goodies came into being at the end of the year but the pieces I am most proud of...

were my fabric pictures and wall hanging.

First is the hand felted and embroidered wall hanging for Tilly Rose, the most darling patient lady in the world. Then came my fabric applique of the Old Sweet Shop in Hawes. Swiftly followed by a gift for my Mum, a fabric applique of her house and garden. And lastly one I don't think I've posted about yet, a piece of hand felted and embroidered art that has already been snapped up and gone to it's loving new home. That's obviously got to be an early post for this year.

All that's left to say is

I wish all of my lovely blog readers a very Happy and Peaceful New Year and thank you from the bottom of my heart for all the support friendship you've given me over the last year.

Here's to the new one.

Cheers!

love Fi x

Well, in the land of teacher training I seem to have no time to craft at the moment :-( However, I still visit your lovely blog to see what I could be doing if there were 40 hours in the day - the felting and applique are fantastic (as always!) Keep inspiring me in readiness for the summer holidays when hopefully I'll have time to craft again! Linda x
