For a long time now I've been wanting to be a bit more creative with my crafting. Cupcakes and bunnies are fine but there are only so many you can make without needing a change. Needing to explore your own creativity and crafting skills.

Another clever little collage - yes, do some more and exhibit. There must be lots of little places like that around your locality. I am thinking Muker, Reeth, Grassington, Malham. Oh I wish I could come round and take the photos for you!!! - Jo

Hi Fiona have you asked the sweet shop people if they want to buy it? you could also offer to do some postcards of it for them. How aobut going round some more of them that are based in quirky or attractive buildings and see if they are interested. Easy form to say isn't it - I don't have to summon the confidence to be brah and do it!!
I am in love with your talent. I love the suggestions others made about doing more businesses. You could even map your area and put a few pictures of the businesses on it, everyone loves maps. I would move there in the blink of an eye. Blessings, Janet

You make it look so easy. I'm almost convinced enough to have a go doing my old cottage, BUT, being realistic, I just know it would not measure up.
Your picture is beautiful and I agree with the other commenters, I think you have a possible niche there. You could always sound them out as part of your market research, to see if it is the sort of thing independent retailers would like. They may snap it up there and then.
I love this shop Fiona and try to avoid going into it because everything is so tempting. I love your idea of sewing the buildings in Hawes - you have certainly caught the essence of this shop - which next?

Fi, that is amazing. You could indeed have a whole 'street' couldn't you? I wish you lived near me then you could teach me how to do such lovely collage. Mine have always been simple things...I once did one of a friends garden seen from the air. This was thirty years ago, and other than very simple stuff, I've not done anything like it since. Would love to do our house actually, which is a lovely old 'villa' as they were called back in the day it was built, almost a hundred years ago. Maybe I just need to give my arse that kick!

As you know, I only just discovered you, so I have been looking back at your posts. You are really prolific with your work aren't you, and so darned clever. I love all your work, the bags, the applique pictures, you inspire me to try. Looked at the gorgeous crocheted blanket from last February, the colours are fabulous, but how did you do that granny square, I can't find one like it?
Lovely work you have pictured here! Did you have to keep going back to the Sweetshop, just to check you'd got it right ... and buy a few sweets?

What a gorgeous interpretation of the sweet shop. It reminds me of the one we visited in Pately Bridge a few years ago. It would be lovely if you could make a street scene and have an exhibition.

Absolutely fabulous!!! What a clever lady you are. I love how it still looks just like the original shop but now made from fabrics and laces. I love this sort of crafting so much.
