Well done Lady Gaga!

Ta-Dah!
Does life get any more exciting than this!
Our first egg!
Courtesy of Lady Gaga.
What a clever hen.

And a quick peek at what I've made with the pre felt from Woolfest. I'm just embroidering and embellishing it now.

Can't wait to see how it looks once you have added your magic!!

The felted soap - every time I have had a go before (and there have been MANY attempts, I think i have wetted it too much eg. dunked it. On youtube there is a lody who puts hers in one of the pop sock type things, maybe try that. It does take a long time, well, say 20 mins max but, like making felt it is really relaxing AND you get the most wonderful clean hands!!

Good luck. Thanks for the 'bead' tips.

Good job Lady GaGa. Hey Fi, I hope there was an egg cosy and toast
soldiers involved as well! Love the blue and white egg cup too.

I am still getting over all the gorgeousness of your Woolfest post, those crocheted rugs were drop dead stunning.

Can't wait to see what else you add to your felt picture.

Congratulations! And well done, Lady Gaga. Is she walking around looking smug? Now the big question is... what are you going to do with it?!

Well done Lady Gaga - it IS exciting getting your first egg! It is only a few months since I had my first egg (by Beryl) and I felt very thrilled! I'm sure there'll be lots more - look out for those ones without a shell on though, which they sometimes lay as they are starting out, they can be messy!

What a clever Lady Gaga! BUT who will/did eat it??? Have you preserved it in vinegar?
But it really is VERY eggciting!
Thanks for permission to post you on my blog ..... it is live as we speak!
Enjoy!

Yes Fi - the first egg is really exciting - and tastes like heaven.
My first was a bantam egg and I gave it to my father in law for his breakfast - he thought it was a pigeon's egg and was very scathing!

If you come to Open Gardens this year do call in for a cuppa.

Congrats to Lady Gaga! I'm about to do a crochet workshop, including a crochet hanger. I love yours far and away above all others for prettiness and simplicity! How would you feel about me teaching your method of doing them? I've not been able to email you as my laptop won't let me into Explorer but hope it's okay to ask you this way. Lots of love Amanda xxx
