This is Dylan aka Manky Cat. We got him just after wonderful man and I got married. That's 20 years, half of my lifetime. Our children have grown up with him, he's always been there. In fact when we first started our married life, we had two cats. Skunky and Dylan. Skunky died 7 years ago at the age of 13 and Dylan died on Friday. As you can imagine at 20 years old he was rather ...well ... manky!
But we loved him.

Oh, poor you. What a sweet boy, and 20, what a fantastic age. I'm sure you must miss him so much. Hope he went peacefully.

So sorry to hear about Dylan, he looks like he was a sweetie and he must have been very happy with you to live so long.

So sorry to hear about 'Manky' cat. 20 years is an amazing age! I had my cat Libby for 17 years and I know when she went it was heartbreaking. As Hen said hope he went peacefully.

So sorry to hear about Dylan. Had one of my cats for 17 years and lost him a few Decembers ago. They always stay in your heart
I am so sorry for you. I would imagine you will miss him for quite a while. Twenty years is an incredibly long time to have a little puss. He must be tied into all sorts of memories. Will you eventually get another because they are so good for our hearts?
How Sad. Dylan looked like a lovely cat. It was good that you shared 20 years of life with him. x
Loving thoughts sent to you and your family, he must have been one very content cat.

Awww so sad when a cat has to trot off to cat-heaven, we lost our lovely tabby at age 14 (almost 3 yrs ago now), and it leaves a gap behind that takes a while to close. For weeks and weeks after she had gone I kept thinking I saw her or heard her still around, most odd.
Sending love and hugs to you and yours, and love for Dylan too
